Creedence Clearwater Revival - studiová alba

Creedence Clearwater Revival je známá kalifornská rocková skupina. I když doba jejího fungování na hudební scéně trvala jen nějakých 5 let, tak se neodvratně zapsala do historie vzniku a fungování rockové hudby. Její jako by archaický zvuk měl kořeny v R&R, R&B i country. Základ skupiny vzniká už v r. 1959, v éře rock´n´rollu. (John Fogerty se narodil v r. 1945, jeho bratr Tom Fogerty v r. 1941.) Od r. 1963 vystupují pod názvem Tommy Fogerty And The Blue Velvets. O rok později vydávají svůj první singl, ale už pod jménem The Golliwogs. Po návratu J. Fogertyho a D. Clifforda z voj. služby v r. 1967 mění název na Creedence Clearwater Revival. Už v r. 1968 mají 1. velký hit - Suzie Q a v dalším roce následují Proud Mary a Bad Moon Rising. Vystupují také na velkých festivalech (m.j. i Woodstock). Komerční úspěch má i album Green River. Po období dalších hitů opouští v r. 1971 skupinu Tom Fogerty a později nahrává sólově. Zbylé trio se po neúspěšném albu Mardi Gras v r. 1972 rozchází. V následujících letech byla i snaha o reunion skupiny, ale ta byla zmařena úmrtím Toma Fogertyho. V tomto prvním příspěvku jsem se zaměřil na klasická studiová alba skupiny.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra

V dubnu letošního roku jsem zde na blogu uvedl album Beethoven's Last Night od skupiny Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Vzhledem k tomu jak je tento příspěvek navštěvován hosty blogu a jak je toto album stahováno, jsem se rozhodl uvést zde i další 3 studiová alba tohoto seskupení.
